If Twitter wants to make any more big changes to become a better, less divisive platform, it should remove the quote tweet function It is bad and makes the platform worse, because it's only real uses are dunking or promotional. It takes away from discussion

I also think it would be interesting to require RTs have minimum character counts. Instead of a blind RT, being prompted to describe why you're sharing the tweet with the idea being more ~mindful~ sharing of content
Just put the quote tweets as replies automatically. Good suggestion. Best of both worlds imo
