does customer obsession only apply to the buyer side?

This one is weird, as it’s clearly going to piss off actual end customers. Do they charge the same FBA rate either way?

They did in this case. Theoretically, I think, if we had asked them to do this they would've charged like $0.10 less or something on a $8-$9 fulfillment and shipping fee.

We have the opposite problem. They put our boxes in boxes and ship those boxes regardless of our no-prep-needed selection. Such a waste of cardboard..
