Can anything else be done? 1. Ending qualified immunity for excessive or deadly force at the federal level 2. Requiring police body cameras at the local level 3. Yeah I saw that thread. I'm pretty sure that study is just wrong. People not behaving better (or at least differently) when they're accountable for their actions via a video showing exactly what they did? Doesn't that contradict every experience you've ever had on this earth?

What about forcing police to buy their own liability insurance like drs. and lawyers? Give them raises to pay for basic coverage - takes liability off of depts. and the ones with the most violent records would be forced out by increased costs.
