In my lifetime, I've never been more bearish about the future of the United States. I don't even care about the markets at this point.

not all shakeups are bad. It's grim now and maybe short-term, but I'm optimistic about mid- and long-term. We're seeing clearly for the first time in probably decades what our weaknesses are and what they can cause. This could become a long-needed catalyst to improve.
