"Whitewashing" - to alter (something) in a way that favors, features, or caters to white people, an act or instance of glossing over or of exonerating. Sounds about right.
It seems like one person doesn't think asians are people of color. Another either didn't realize Justin was Asian or on the show or also feels that they are not. To me, this is just focussing on the wrong thing. Race is not relevant here. It's about the message of not drinking.

But that’s the whole point. Race is only relevant because someone brought it up. Specifically someone white. Washing away the focus.

Molson I agree with you. I don't think race is relevant here. We should be encouraging people to share their vulnerabilities, regardless of race (or any other possible categorization).
