Whatever inspired George W Bush to stand up on the rubble of the World Trade Center and really bond with the people (even if his subsequent decisions were terrible) is just not a character trait that our current president seems to have.

March with cops somewhere. March with protestors protesting peacefully. Confront the protestors at the whitehouse lawn. Go to a hospital for covid like Putin did.
He could cure cancer and it’d be negatively portrayed by the media. I don’t know Pittsburgh but that ain’t covid. You could’ve argued that it was unsafe for Bush to be at the rubble too.
