The judge in the WashPo lawsuit found that they never actually called him a racist and dismissed most of the claims. Last I checked that one was going forward on the limited question of whether he was blocking the other guy's path. 1/2

I believe the judge also found that "racist" is an opinion that can't create liability for defamation, although I read it several months ago. Will look up the excerpt. 2/2
