Obviously, hard if not impossible to do this when someone is denying oxygen to your brain, but if Floyd had said: “officers, I am unarmed and I am going to die, and when that happens your careers and lives will be ruined” the knee comes up.
The video is horrific. The officer's actions were horrific. He needs to be tried for murder, homicide, manslaughter. That said, to change behavior, change the incentives. There's no way in hell that guy kills Floyd knowing that he's going to lose his career for it.
