My social media free speech law: The public forum (i.e. no Facebook groups or subreddits) on any social media website with more than 1,000,000 monthly active users in the past year cannot moderate its posts. All moderation will be done by state, local, and federal court.
Did someone say something that hurt your feelings? Sue them for libel or slander. Did you see a boob? Restrictions for under 18 would be allowed. Did someone say something racist? Unless they’re inciting violence nothing happens. If inciting violence, govt must file lawsuit.
Platforms can easily stop anon account abuse by stopping non-verified accounts from replying to celebrities.
Easy simple solution which relies on the worlds best system of judgment instead of monopolies run by lizard men (sue me @jack!)
We are grown ups. We can decide for ourselves what is fake news. And plenty people point this out in comments and replies.
