Also, in a minor way, trust. My ebooks can be bought on Gumroad. Yet, many readers purchase them on Amazon because they trust Amazon but not Gumroad (even those who don't own Kindle; some message me specifically asking if I sell on Amazon bc they don't trust that unknown website)
