I made the conscientious decision to disengage in culture war stuff roughly after a year of moving here. It takes up sooo much of your limited free time and energy and you benefit nothing.

I'd like to think that that's still a very minority opinion. I mean yeah I get that feeling from reading shit online but not from real life people.
That's why I think it's important that we stand up and say "We're cancelling cancel culture." Because there is a huge fearful silent majority that is just waiting for this nonsense to end.
