Don’t know but I’d guess that it’d be one of the last things to be automated. Looks like you need near perfect 3-d movement and amazing image recognition. I think it’s probably easier to automate Saudi oil than us frack oil. Let’s ask Paras haha

I can't imagine that you'd exactly replicate this insanely dangerous process with automation. A modern cut-to-length logging system isn't just automating exactly what a dude with a chainsaw does.
