It’s so pervasive that I didn’t notice this weird dynamic either. It affected my help to aspiring entrepreneurs. I’d hear their desire to be a founder. I’d cheer them! “Yes, you can start a business!” 3/x

I have no idea how much traits are learned or inborn, but I do know that you only need 3 things to be successful as an entrepreneur: 1. Motor (THIS IS A MUST) 2. Brains (you need much less than you think) 3. Flexibility (Too many brains often => not enough flexibility)

The smartest people I know use their intelligence to be "right" rather than right. Folks who put their ego aside and hunt for the actual truth are the ones I'd bet on.

I do love that modern entrepreneurship is not a "bet the farm" thing, which is great. On the other hand, I see people wasting their time and it hurts my empathy genes!

Haha, hopefully for me those are not required. Just kidding, I care. I just interact with those people floundering around doing their dad's dream much less than you do. Out of sight, out of mind.
