No doubt. They were true inventors. Bezos is well, inventor equivalent in the business domain. Musk is a brilliant visionary, promoter and clearly leader. I admire the guy... but he’s nowhere near those if your question was about world-changing inventions.
I differ with you on two points: 1. Bezos is more similar to Musk than you give him credit for. What has he personally invented? 2. Edison, Bell, and Ford - yes they were inventors but I just mentioned them for their positive effect on the world's tech.
I guess #2 isn't a difference, but what I'm saying is that, while Musk isn't inventing (I'm sure his name is on a ton of patents), he is having an Edison-esque effect on the world.
