Also it's one thing to do this as a hobby and another to make a living of it. I criticize the second one only. Lastly it seems to be people who focus on themselves too much tend to be unhappy or poor or both. Focus on your customer's, relationships etc instead.
Do we have a mutual friend who is authentically themself and doing very poorly at it? I can’t read others’ thoughts so it’s hard for me to agree or disagree with your 2nd paragraph. Could it just be those that talk about themselves suck? This shows a lack of empathy/brains.
