Anyone know what this big chunk of land near the water in Los Angeles is for? It's got weird footprints that used to have buildings and odd railroad tracks. Seems to be USG owned.pic.twitter.com/1hGmiH5Ep9

It’s a military base. Those are still buildings/bunkers built into the ground in a hidden way

google maps don't have/show full imagery of sensitive sites... which is reasonable.

It’s exactly what storage sites for ammo and ordinance looks like from above ground. Basically just a tiled pattern of entrances.
