You’ve a verbal agreement to make a deal. Major terms agreed to. You think it’s fair. Other side brings in their lawyer who proceeds to ruin/renegotiate/blow up the deal. You’re convinced the other side’s lawyer is a bad one and out of line. How do you deal?

I’ve been in this situation and my proposed solution didn’t work, but worth a try: Propose that you and the other guy, without both of your lawyers do a call, which both sides lawyers can later advise them on later.
Why didn't work? Some people are just FUCKING IDIOTS (I'm still pissed at this guy and his lawyer who was leading him along...) and they trust their stupid lawyers over their counterparty, regardless of the logic you drop on them.
