If you grew up in a smaller US town in the 90s and your experience age 10-18 with small biz was watching 50% of them go out of biz, guessing it makes ya more risk adverse.

I grew up in a town of 50k. My dad was a medical devices entrepreneur so we were out of the retail space. I see your point now. Thanks for the clarification.
