I think you might be on to something w/ social media/culture as well. I knew a lot more people willing to be starving artists than starving entrepreneurs.

Today, especially in the pandemic, all social reaffirmation goes through social media. You don't get to feel good for anything unless it gets likes on IG, Twitter, etc. When you play with the incentives, it fucks with our behavior.
