Until people can speak freely without fear of loss of job or “being cancelled” anonymous accounts are necessary. Everyone is always complaining about toxicity on Twitter. I rarely see it. A lot of the people make this complaint are pretending to be more important than they are.

There aren't any true anon accounts anymore. Twitter routinely asks for phone# to be able to activate an account.
