I assume this is not to belittle the accomplishment? There are people who say that what SpaceX did with the reusable rocket was not impressive because Blue Origin also did it (at way lower altitude). Bezos is amazing but fuck that guy.

Just to add, Viasat provided satellite internet for >15 years now and are very good at designing satcom modems. The tech is there, but starlink has a different business model (global coverage). Viasat focuses on specific markets (rural+airplanes in developed economies, military).
