Cool! Yeah, it’s not that much (few hundred ms round trip) but it’s enough to make your phone call or web interaction total crap. (I spent a couple hours reading about all this at one point as I had the same question!)
Super fascinating! Pssshhh a better solution would be just find a method of transmission that was faster than the speed of light. /sarcasm
Pesky physics. Almost as bad as pesky customers — always wanting something better. ;-)
I don't complain about customers because 99%+ of the time they are totally right and even if they're wrong there's a seed of truth there, but damn did I have a PIA one yesterday. I bring this up because we launched a blue ocean idea that worked :)
