Thanks for posting this. Loved Sam's book; can't remember ever seeing a pic of that first store. Truly amazing what came from there... It's such an American story.
It's a museum now right? I regret not having visiting when I visited Bentonville, but I was too busy getting owned by the Walmart buyer haha

Bentonville reminds of Fort Worth (to a lesser extent Dallas). Ton of rich people lived there and they looked around and said "this place kinda sucks" so they poured money into it with museums etc.
