We in US are at risk of doing way too much lockdown, & we should be doing more fast risky med trials, such as for variolation. I'm willing to debate folks on these. But many others now say similar things, & I see few who want to engage me. Should I quit these topics then?
I gave up when I realized that America wanted to learn how to deal with covid the hard way. I don’t have your reach, but, you’ve been (rightly) talking about variolation for some time now and it hasn’t caught on. I’d make one last push for a Wsj or nyt opinion piece then give up.
