Social media was new in 2005 and most users were young, who lean strongly left. However, people move to the right as they age. Over time, $FB etc's customers will be more sensitive to political censorship. This opens the window for competition against social media monopolies.

Interesting thought. Life experience corrects a lot of stupidity. It’s also possible that the young will keep their beliefs on censorship.
