Is there room for a politician who uses Feynman-esque first principles to explain her views?

That’s cool but you need to be pretty smart and motivated to figure out what is meant by that or know it already to find what he wrote appealing. What if someone went even more first principle like:
1. Some people use laws for their benefit. 2. It is hard and costly to enforce all laws. 3. Therefore we should get rid of any law that causes people to get in trouble that does not also have great other benefits.
