Don’t get it again. So cities: huge economic energy, the feeling that everything is getting better all the time. New buildings, new transport, bridges going up everywhere. Towns: again same economic energy with considerably more economic opportunity.

Start a factory, buy from a local one, start a Taobao shop. For any physical good you are #1. For pure tech, funding is widely available and things move fast fast fast, we are behind in many areas.

Rural America is a lot of drugs, people with diabetes, and people moving back home because they couldn’t pay rent in the cities.

Not qualified to have an opinion. 2 weeks in nam but I don’t speak the language. 3 days in Manila. That said, Vietnam has some swag. I think they’ll go far far far, though they lack chinas amazing work effect (have other positives though). Not bullish on PH.

Don’t think so. They’ve been liberating for a while. Doi Moi started in the early 90s. They had one. I just have no idea what his name is.
