Remember that "amazing" @pmarca article?
The one that had all of Twitter and Silicon Valley singing in unison: "We need to build!"
What happened after that? Nothing.

We need concrete action plans, not feel-good kumbuyahs.https://twitter.com/Molson_Hart/status/1251643299322044421 …

Molson Hart @Molson_HartThis whole article, which the twittersphere will likely call "brilliant" (half because of Andreesen's brand, half because they need that SV deal flow), just falls in the top right quadrant. We need definite specific goals of what to build and how to improve. What do we do now? https://twitter.com/balajis/status/1251639190464258048 … pic.twitter.com/Wr6tLjen9cShow this thread2 replies 0 retweets 4 likesShow this thread -
This follow-up article is worse than the first. I willed myself into reading it. When you give Marc Andreessen a blowjob, you periodically have to come up for air. The only paragraph of substance was a non-sequitur attempted takedown of a concrete plan. https://twitter.com/pmarca/status/1255585002567299072 …pic.twitter.com/yxZ765lNYj

Everyone is pro-"build". There's nothing courageous about taking that position. Real courage is saying "we are going to build this and here's how" or we're going to "get rid of this and here's how." This is trash. Read Peter Thiel instead of this pablum.
