European companies used to complain that American & Japanese competition was similarly unfair. From an Old World perspective it’s interesting to see US companies struggling with Chinese state capitalism (National Socialism).

China was smart about how it did trade though. They’ve been very careful to avoid American Indoctrination, stole a ton of tech, and set things up in such a way that they got they got the tech and jobs and we got cheap stuff.
