Shifting to video (or maybe slack for daily standup). We always struggled with influencing estimation when one person is remote, so maybe shift estimation and refinement to asynchronous with discussion in the tickets and a survey and one meeting to discuss any areas of divergence

Estimation is when the engineers review tickets the PM has prepared and rate how hard they would be to complete. My engineers didn’t push back enough in these sessions, so we added a meeting day before that, Refinement, focused on editing the tickets / identifying open questions
