I don’t care anymore. I’ve tried to walk the line, it’s too nuanced. It’s either this or disengage entirely and become a purely broadcast account.
Do it carefully. You don’t want to end up with a forum of ass-sucking sycophants.

What about going back to following people and then turning on notifications from only those that you follow?

For example, people are scared of disagreeing with Taleb. That’s not an atmosphere you want to create. Being corrected when you’re wrong is great.

He does want that. He's a narcissist. Narcissists are great at entertainment, and even education, but not so great at effective community building. Gurus really only want devoted followers. I've learned this the hard way, a number of times.

We're all narcissists. I've disagreed with Naval, not always respectfully, and he has never blocked or muted me.
