Just saw that @ATT CEO Randall Stephenson is stepping down. He's the fine fellow who moved the HQ from San Antonio to Dallas because he didn't like our airport.

That’s the public narrative but it’s not wholly true. The move was more about talent (we don’t have it and SA is hard to recruit senior people to) and making his mark on the company.
I think, in order to attract talent again, AT&T then had to rebuild all of Dallas' downtown.
