I'm not sure. Costco, charges returns back to their suppliers too, but that's for when they receive an actual return back. In this case, it's just free product on our dime.

There is incredible potential for fraud with this. As far as I've ever seen, Amazon doesn't require any real evidence that something was not delivered; the one time I requested a refund, their shipping indicated that they had delivered it, but I never found the package. No prob

Theoretically, they'll restrict your ability to get these refunds if you keep doing it, but I'm suspicious about this. The more of their business is 3rd party, why would they care? So long as you don't do it every time, they're still making good riskless money.

Is it still a profitable channel for you? AMZN as many sales services hubs aren’t (BABA as exception). Restaurants that use the grabhub like they end up losing their margins litterally working at margin cost. The sales channel retains profit and customers, kicking back all costs.
