As a 26-year old pup, I walked into my boss' office to ask for a raise. They gave me a fancier title instead. I never forgot that one.
What’s this mean? That people will be satisfied with a change in title instead of a raise even if it’s meaningless?

For most people money is just a way or keeping score right? A lot of people who chase money are just chasing status and they have chosen to do it through money. With that in mind, it makes sense right? If everyone thinks you’re making more, you might as well be.!
