Some competent people will run reliable antibody tests within a couple weeks. I think there's a solid chance that a city like Stockholm will show 15%+ of the population had it already. Which means this isn't nearly as deadly as we thought.

I think we have a pretty good read on how deadly this thing is and it's bad if you're old or diabetic (probably 10x the flu, at least 5x) and mostly fine if you're not.

It can leave you with permanent lung damage even if you survive just fine. We’re only beginning to understand what it does. Scary part to me is the possible neurological effects.pic.twitter.com/YyCUmND5PS

Do you know what % has permanent lung damage after, and the age skew on it?

I believe most people who had it haven’t been tested much less had their lungs assessed. In China

In China they realized kids were infected but Asymptomatic by looking at ct scans of lungs. So even if kids felt no symptoms, they had the tell tale lesions and who knows what their lifetime effects will be. I don’t think we have a clue.

Most people don't even realize they've had it. Many people have had it and aren't reporting delayed bad effects for a month+ now. There's some risk, but it doesn't seem that big.

In those who survived mild and severe disease alike, the researchers found that many of the biological measures had "failed to return to normal." https://www.bing.com/amp/s/www.ajc.com/news/health-med-fit-science/coronavirus-infection-may-cause-damage-throughout-body-doctors-fear/3wdqdhfJr5fTjsxpYCHx9K/amp.html …

Unreliable evidence. The air in China is so bad most people probably already have lung damage there prior to covid19
