Got hit so much worse than others. Commuters from outer Queens and Brooklyn spend far more time, and come into contact with far more stops (more people getting on and off) than those who are taking the subway 3 or 4 stops in Manhattan or from Brooklyn Heights to Wall Street
I think we have a pretty good read on how deadly this thing is and it's bad if you're old or diabetic (probably 10x the flu, at least 5x) and mostly fine if you're not.

It can leave you with permanent lung damage even if you survive just fine. We’re only beginning to understand what it does. Scary part to me is the possible neurological effects.pic.twitter.com/YyCUmND5PS

Do you know what % has permanent lung damage after, and the age skew on it?

SK claims they contained it with test and trace. For that to work, most people that got it must have been tested. If so, CFR in SK is 2.3%. Very high. On the other hand, Iceland is at .5% and some positives could be missed because it's rural. Very low.

SK's numbers are particularly hard to believe when the age skew of positive tests was so low and we have CDC data or that healthcare sample set showing young people die way less often. I don't really believe SK anymore, but not fully sure still.
