He got a $7k grant, not the $10k he was expecting.

My take: Airlines have unionized employees, so matter politically. They also buy from Boeing, which is a captive quasi-gov't entity at this point given their amount of DoD contracts. Most importantly, congress wants them flying so they can get to DC easily!

Right, no disagreements there, but as I’m sure you’d agree. That’s some bullshit! Separately, good chance that money runs out before they start flying and I doubt they can use it to buy more planes from the great company that gave us the 737max!

I used to get mad about this stuff as a younger man. What's that line about "may God grant me the initiative to change the things I can for the better and the wisdom to accept the things I can't"? Lower testosterone makes that easier for sure.

Is it lower testosterone? I feel like it's just life experience and lowering your expectations no?

Maybe not lowering expectations, but having right sized expectations?

I am less aggressive+emotional than I was as a younger man before "menopause." Just my experience. Life also teaches lots of lessons. Tilting at windmills becomes less interesting after the 10th time I did it!

I am as well. Maybe this is wishful thinking (I'd like to believe I'm not lower T haha), but for me, a lot of that came from experience. Anger gets you nowhere and once you've been through experiences that cause it, you see that. Being happy in life generally also helps.

I'm 33 so, talk to me in a few years, I guess.

Testosterone definitely falls, but so does one's desire to maintain it. Men in older ages get lazy. They stop working out. They stop doing sports for fear of injury. That stuff will also drop your testosterone.
