Honey got their start directing people away from Amazon for better prices (and higher commissions). Few months back Amazon started pushing a warning to shoppers who had Honey installed saying it isn't a safe plugin or something. Can't imagine they work together

The jist of the article is that Honey usually directs you elsewhere, but looks like they were working with Amazon in 2016. Keep in mind Honey was mid-sized, up-and-coming punlisher back then, now they're Top 5 in the industry. I could talk for hours about Honey, very divisive!
