Just remembered the first time this happened for me was the Virginia earthquake in 2011 that we felt in New York. Couldn’t find anything on Google as I was feeling the shaking, but Twitter immediately confirmed

Which is saying something, as bad as Twitter search works. Maybe it's ok for exploration, but it's wretched for finding anything I know exists
