Okay, here we go. - Poor Charlie's Almanack fucks. Probably more wisdom per page than any other book. - The Evolution of Useful Things is a good book for inventors and is mildly interesting generally - Essentialism is a single concept book but you need to know it.
- Skin in the Game is must read. Taleb is annoying when he goes on Fat Tony tangents, but yeah, it's must read. - Made in Japan is really good. It opens your mind to a different way of doing shit. - Good Calories Bad Calories is good if you're fat or have heart disease etc.
- Irrational Exuberance is pretty interesting - I really like Surely You're Joking Mr. Feynman - he's a badass - Get Smarter is very good - Antifragile is excellent. All the Taleb is must read. - Maus is wonderful - Toyota Production System is excellent and not well known
All the chess books are good...for learning chess. The rest are a combination of - meh - haven't read yet - this book sucks - and books from my wife that need to get off my fucking bookshelf.
What should I add to my bookshelf next? I'm an obsessive compulsive learner and am pretty determined to be wise and, ideally, in a way that is innovative.
@davidgshort and @davekopec have a book club & podcast where we read books monthly
