Fuck off. There is ample evidence that CBT works in tons of good studies. Maybe you wouldn't be cringing if you did some haha

Bitch I’ve been in therapy for more than 10 years. And there’s plenty of studies that show other therapeutic approaches (I am in no way talking abt astrology lol) help in other fucking mental disorders!!! I literally went to school for this!!! Did the research!!! Foh yt!!!

You've been in therapy for 10 years because what you're doing isn't working! THAT'S THE POINT! CBT WORKS. 1 YEAR. IN AND OUT AND YOU'RE DONE. NO MEDS.

No dude?? I’ve been in therapy for 10 years bc it’s an ongoing process?? It gives me allocated space & time to talk about my emotions & life with a trusted individual? Which is what I fuckinf WANT to do??? Therapy isn’t about going “IN AND OUT”?

You're wrong. Go get CBT that is paid for by health insurance. It's hard, but it will save you a ton of time and make you a much happier person. Good luck.

Yes, good point. She attributed my views to me being a white male. Not the right lesson for people of any age.

Stfu! Definitely the right lesson. Kiddos must learn racial imbalances and injustices we face on the daily in America. Being in therapy for 10 years is literally /not/ a bad thing. Y’all on some uneducated and biased shit thinking otherwise

I am a person and you are a person. We’re talking about whether or not CBT works. This has zero to do with race. If you insist on discussing racial imbalances, since you are of Indian origin and I am not, send me some reparations.pic.twitter.com/XIh5CXeFxM

Stop using BS sources

this convo is over...we both agreed CBT is effective, you just can’t seem to understand that a) other valid forms of therapies exist for the plethora of disorders and b) the multiple uses of therapy. It’s never a bad idea to continue therapy. Never.1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes
BS sources? That is US census data. Go look it up. Really you should. I guess when you have infinite money and it feels good, never ending therapy is good.
