Step 2D - As soon as the number of positive tests in a location gets too high (metric can be infections per local hospital beds), return to step 1, but keep it local. Increase rate of testing in surrounding areas.

If the situation continues to deteriorate, apply step 1 over a wider and wider area, as large as the entire United States again if necessary.

If at any point, there is legitimate evidence of reinfection or mutation of the virus, reconsider totally the strategy. If reinfection is proven impossible, recovered patients can receive an ID, which will allow them to avoid testing and other hassles.

Step 3A - If no reinfection or mutation, continue the strategy until one of the following is achieved: - Treatment that makes the virus less deadly - Vaccine - Herd immunity Then reconsider again.

Every time you do a lockdown, the virus comes back slower, because, because more people have been infected (and thus immune), the rate of infection is lower. This buys you time for vaccine or treatment. That's why this works! Needs to be a federally led strategy. /ENDpic.twitter.com/gxxKeMUArh
