The idea that we should be pitying millennials because of the pandemic is absurd. Did we forget Vietnam, Korea, WW2, the Great Depression, WW1, and all the squalor that came before it? I agree, but millennials vs boomers is a different story than millennials vs silent, best, etc. generations This pandemic probably ended the most widely peaceful time for general American population. Pity doesn't get people very far, though.

Rich connected boomers had it good, but their less well-off buddies went to Vietnam and saw their incomes plummet when we sent manufacturing to Asia and unions home.

Ya true I've started keeping notes on how Boomers are screwing over younger generations, but it feels like it could be extended to just older generations screwing over younger generations. But that doesn't seem as fitting for the life Boomers grew up in compare to their parents

Yeah usually it’s the old sending the young to wars but for the first time in a ages (literally), this is not happening. I’m generally against these type of tropes but I think rich vs poor, coast vs flyover, etc are more apt than these generational conflicts.

We'll see when I eventually research more when I get around to writing an article hah
