Too anti-Trump for me to get past paragraph 3. For me, Trump was underrated as a president until covid. Now he's overrated, and that's saying something.
IMVHO, a couple of things are straining this country: 1. fiat money 2. a racial integration more difficult than what we achieved before (integration of European whites) 3. social media 4. deindustrialization (and the job loss that came with it)

re 6: Lot's of USA taxes or quasi taxes are ~ flat rate (health care, property taxes). Makes it hard for people to take unpaid time off IMO because you have large constant costs.
