I wonder what kind of multiples they are paying?

I agree with Molson 1) Amazon works best w/ real brands & differentiated products. w/out that every market races to the bottom on pricing 2) Brands & Differentiated products are difficult. How difficult are they at the scale the investors need?

3) some things on Amazon don't scale. W/ black hat actors, AMZ make changes, there's less efficiency the more skus you have 4) If AMZ is your only sales channel come 5 years from now, it'll probably be a worse opportunity than it is now

5) This roll-up model is 100% focused on leveraging a platform that is notorious to not giving a fuck about you. I personally wouldn't be investing in something like that. Wanna buy legit e-comm brands like @BillDA at element brands? Looks similar, but is totally different

However, if you wanted to roll up a bunch of Amazon brands and sell them in 24 months to some PE firm that has no idea what they're doing (which was the 101commerce co. game plan), then it might work from a financial standpoint.
