3) a total shutdown for a short period of time is better for the economy than a Half-asses shutdown for much longer. We just need to bite the bullet. Too much community spread.

Hydroxychloroquine is not the silver bullet.https://twitter.com/Molson_Hart/status/1247747955861237770 …
Molson Hart added,
Molson Hart @Molson_HartHydroxychloroquine as a covid cure seems like wishful thinking. Even if it did work, with how many severe covid patients also have heart disease and diabetes, it is not the solution we are hoping for. Further, this contraindication may be contributing to its perceived efficacy pic.twitter.com/3zOcu4O9KYShow this thread1 reply 0 retweets 0 likesShow this thread -

Anti-china sentiment:https://twitter.com/Molson_Hart/status/1247540175032315907 …
Molson Hart added,
Molson Hart @Molson_HartThere is growing anti-China sentiment across the globe because of the virus. They must shut their wet markets and there should be anti-China sentiment for IP theft and abusing the international legal system, but not for the virus. https://twitter.com/Molson_Hart/status/1228738897640816641 …Show this thread1 reply 0 retweets 0 likesShow this thread -

Other animals as a means of spread, possible, but not a likely means of spread right now, I think.https://twitter.com/Molson_Hart/status/1246981129204387840 …
Molson Hart added,
Molson Hart @Molson_HartPeople think this is funny, but it's really not. If cats can get, and importantly, pass the virus on that's a really serious problem. It makes quarantining even more difficult. Basically the government would have to kill any cat found outdoors. https://twitter.com/natashaldaly/status/1246900371706036228 …1 reply 0 retweets 0 likesShow this thread -

The CARES act and other plans will be bungled to the point where some people will regret taking them.https://twitter.com/Molson_Hart/status/1246563472625864704 …
Molson Hart added,
Molson Hart @Molson_HartI have a contrarian opinion about the payroll protection part of the cares act. It gives you 2.5 months of your payroll as loan which...later will be forgiven if you can show it was necessary. Everyone I know is taking it, regardless of whether they need it. Bad idea, IMHO.Show this thread1 reply 0 retweets 0 likesShow this thread -

Covid will not reverse the trend of urbanization at all.https://twitter.com/Molson_Hart/status/1246524942650392576 …
Molson Hart added,
Molson Hart @Molson_HartCities are lindy. Urbanization will continue. It did after the Black Death and many other deadly pandemics. Maybe this time is different. Now there’s an alternative. Instead of living in a metropolis, we can live on the internet, in a game, or on Twitter.

Not a prediction. I just wanted to say for the 100th time that Fauci sucks. I feel the need to point this out because he's so (wrongly) celebrated.https://twitter.com/Molson_Hart/status/1246265549212004352 …
Molson Hart added,
Molson Hart @Molson_HartNice job, Doc! Nailed it!
More accurately, this is major medical malpractice and he is responsible the deaths here. Trump is too, but this was supposed to be fauci’s area of expertise. The only thing more pathetic than his performance is the respect he gets from the media. https://twitter.com/brithume/status/1246156119938080776 …1 reply 0 retweets 1 likeShow this thread -
This tuberculosis vaccine stops COVID theory makes no sense. Australia has few cases. Many countries in Europe in purple have a ton of cases and deaths. Iran got wiped out by the virus. I don't see it in the data at all.pic.twitter.com/8AjTTViNnE

Australia population density is 3.1/ km^2 vs Italy is 206/ km^2

This isn't a reasonable comparison. It's like looking at NY state vs. NYC. Australia has a low density because of a huge amount of the country that has no people. Really what you should look at is Bergamo/Milan/Venezia vs. Melbourne/Sydney/Brisbane

Melbourne 508/ km^2 vs Milan 7700/ km^2. Also Melbourne has a lot more foreign population (who had the BCG vaccine already) compared to Milan.
