      Did we need a pleasure incentive for that? If you carry something really heavy and then release it, it feels good, but it doesn't feel pleasurable. Breathing is necessary but doesn't have a pleasure incentive either.

      You can apply his reasoning to urination too especially after a bunch of beer for the same reasons Breathing is an involuntary process, you don't need an incentive

      I don't think it's equivalent. Pooping is more pleasurable, even if you haven't been holding it.

          I was thinking that might be the reason, actually. Because, sometimes, it feels really not good, we needed it to feel good the rest of the time. Otherwise we'd avoid it, which would not be good.
