What is the evolutionary reason behind pooping feeling so good?

It doesn’t always feel good...I suspect it’s a happy coincidence.

I was thinking that might be the reason, actually. Because, sometimes, it feels really not good, we needed it to feel good the rest of the time. Otherwise we'd avoid it, which would not be good.

I don't think it's equivalent. Pooping is more pleasurable, even if you haven't been holding it.
