I improved my SATs by 380 points from 7th grade to 12th, i think like 150 from 11th to 12th. Probably easier to study than IQ though

I don't think this is the best counterexample because your brain underwent a huge amount of change over that period, but I think you're directionally right here.

Vista doesn't have much skin in the game. They're a heads I win, tails you lose operation. In my experience, the only thing that predicts hiring success is...hiring them for a decently long period of time and seeing if it's working.

A few years ago I used to administer tests on potential employees and so many of them cheated :(

Yup you're right. If I had successfully administered an integrity test it wouldn't have mattered. Fwiw, my best employee had help on our skill assessment test (basically cheating). Was admitted later.
