To work you have to put the variolated in camps. Otherwise they go around and infect others, not only out and about but at home with relatives.

Imho, doable but not with this government. Taiwan or SK could pull it off. I wouldn’t trust China to do it without doing something bad.

This point doesn't seem contentious to medical experts. It's the same reason they seem to think a vaccine is a good solution. There's some risk, though.

Def looks like you're immune and you're not infectious but we are not totally certain of that.
